Support Animal-Assisted Therapy for Special Education Students

TheraPets.org provides Occupational Therapy and Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) to special education students in Northern Illinois—at no cost to their families. Many of our students are non-verbal and have Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs). Our therapy animals help them build confidence, improve social skills, and reduce anxiety.

We recently lost two-thirds of our annual funding, putting our therapy programs at risk. Every dollar donated helps cover essential costs like:

• 🐾 Veterinary care, food, and training for therapy animals
• 🏫 Therapy sessions for students in public schools
• 🛠 Supplies and insurance to keep our program running
